The chart below is Produced by Saracen as a guide to frame sizes. Most bikes come in categories of Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large and in our opinion Large will mean someone who stands OVER 6Ft tall! Do also remember that you should also allow for the fact that as frames become bigger the reach (i.e. the distance from the saddle to Handlebars) also increases, although by not the same amount as the change in frame size. As a rough guide an increase in one frame size equates to about half an inch extra in toptube length. Also take note that the larger the frame the more upright the riding position will be for any individual due to the fact that the saddle will always be set at an appropriate height for your leg length whilst the handlebars will have risen in relation to the height of the saddle.
